We’re very excited at the way the Green Party is growing in Amber Valley.  From small beginnings, we’re starting to make a real difference in local politics and we want to see our success build year on year.

Use your time and skills

We need all sorts of people to do all sorts of jobs from delivering leaflets and surveying residents, to encouraging people to vote for us and even just sitting outside a polling station on election day.  Whatever you’d like to do, you’ll be given all the training you need and you’ll be joining a friendly and enthusiastic team.   

Not keen on the legwork?  We also need people who work from a desk.  If you’re good at planning and organising and have some IT skills, you can help us.

Are you a great communicator?  We really need people with skills in social media, copy-writing, graphic design, photography and video.

Take a Stand

Our efforts are in vain if we don’t have candidates.  If you want to make a real, valuable and direct contribution to your neighbourhood, become a Green Party candidate.  We’d love to see more Greens on town and parish councils, Amber Valley Borough Council and Derbyshire County Council.

We know everyone has to think hard about how they spend their money, but we can’t fight for a better future for everyone unless we can get our message across to voters.

Could you make a donation to keep our campaigns on track?

  • £10 per month (for a year) would pay for one newsletter to the whole of one of our target wards. Our regular 'year-round' newsletters are the foundation of our election wins but they are a constant cost - money well spent!
  • £20 per month would buy 6 months worth of newsletters in a target ward 
  • £5 per month would get an A5 election leaflet for a whole target ward
  • £3 per month is a great help too - any regular donation helps us to know we have a steady income stream so we can plan our campaigns.
