Green Councillors joined the launch of Duffield’s Repair Cafe at St Alkmund’s Church. Volunteers repaired items bought in by Duffield residents and served delicious homemade cakes. Councillor Gez Kinsella supported the project with a donation from his councillor’s fund. Councillor Alison McDermott praised the volunteers involved, ‘Repair cafes are great. They save items from landfill and bring the community together.’ Join the Repair Café every second Saturday.
