Shocking amounts of sewage are being spilled into rivers in our area, from sewage works and storm overflows. Sewage is only meant to overflow into rivers in very heavy rain but we have learned that in 2021 the sewage works at Belper discharged sewage into the river 60 times, for a total of 597 hours. […]
